7 for Seven

Can you believe it? We’re already 7 days into April – no joke!

Where did the time go right? I still cannot believe that I have been doing this 7 for Seven series for more than three months already. But I am so happy that I started it.

…every Monday, we post seven positives from the previous seven days of the week as a reminder of what we have so that the week starts out on an upswing. There is much truth in the belief that happy people attract good things, so it is important to start the week out right. Sometimes it’s the more grand, but other times, it’s the simple things.

7 for Seven originated at Key + Arrow and I think being thankful for all the goodness in my life has been the best way to start my week. So much so Mondays are becoming one of my favourite days of the week. I love reminding myself how much I have to be thankful for.

So here are my 7 positives for this week:

7 for Seven week 14

My hope is that by turning my focus to all that I have to be grateful for at the start of my work week, by sowing my own seeds of faith and gratitude, I can carry with me and reap the rewards of “positivity + balance + bliss” throughout the days ahead. Here’s to good health and being able to breathe!

TODAY IS A HOLIDAY IN TRINIDAD!!!

Whoo hoo for long weekends. Well technically I didn’t have a long weekend because I was at work all day Saturday and Sunday. So I am especially grateful for today! Yay for sleeping in. My phone died sometime last night and I only just realized, isn’t phone silence great sometimes? I’m listening to Pharrell’s Happy while I get today’s post together….because I’m happpppyyyyyy….

I was home sick with the flu last week, it was also the 5-year anniversary of my scary lump removal procedure (I cannot call it surgery because I was awake for the whole damn thing.) I feel like I have so much to be grateful for today.

I’m BAAACCK!!! My runaway/mini vacation was excellent. I really enjoyed my experience and now I can get back into this blogging business, which quite happily for me has become a big part of my gratitude practice.
