Quote of the Day

I will always be safe from the random hurricanes of outcome as long as I never forget where I rightfully live.
– Elizabeth Gilbert

7 for Seven

These last few days have been a real struggle for me and it has really affected this space. But I’ve decided to start again, right where I am.

…every Monday, we post seven positives from the previous seven days of the week as a reminder of what we have so that the week starts out on an upswing. There is much truth in the belief that happy people attract good things, so it is important to start the week out right. Sometimes it’s the more grand, but other times, it’s the simple things.
~ Key + Arrow

7 for Seven originated at Key + Arrow and I think being thankful (this week most especially) for all the goodness in my life has been the best way to start my week and a reminder that I am greatly blessed.

So here are my 7 positives for this week:

7 for Seven week 17

My hope is that by turning my focus to all that I have to be grateful for at the start of my work week, by sowing my own seeds of faith and gratitude, I can carry with me and reap the rewards of “positivity + balance + bliss” throughout the days ahead. Here’s to good health and being able to breathe!

What are you grateful for this week? Please feel free to share below.

Unfinished

Things have been quiet around here for a while because I have been languishing in a serious case of overwhelm. (Thanks for this Jennifer!)

Having an idea is the easy part.

What they don’t tell you about blogging is that not seeing that idea through to the end is the worst-case scenario.

The carrion crows in my drafts folder are feasting on many unfinished ideas.

Not finishing is death.

Death of creativity.

Death of your soul…eventually.

The struggle is real.
