Weekly Photo Challenge: Symbol

One of my favourite pieces captured while in London, back in April. With just a few lines, shapes and the simple gesture of the two figures from different backgrounds, street artist Stik is able to highlight the on-going issue of immigration in the UK…and if we’re being honest…it’s applicable in other parts of the world as well.

Stik’s figures, however, are a nod to the acceptance, tolerance and unity that (can?) exists in the UK and the world over.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Roy G. Biv – STREET ART EDITION

I am finally sharing some of the amazing street art I was able to capture during my Loud In London trip back in April. Today’s photo challenge Roy G. Biv is the perfect opportunity to share some of the memories of my trip.

Roy G. Biv is an acronym made of the first letters of the seven colors of the rainbow: Red. Orange. Yellow. Green. Blue. Indigo. Violet. Street Artists use all the colours of the rainbow to express their creativity in the most amazing ways. I hope you enjoy today’s photos as much as I enjoyed exploring Bristol and Brick Lane, London to capture them.
