I have done two marathons, one half marathon and countless other grueling hikes and challenges and none of them gave me a sense of achievement as being able to get over my fear of the ocean and do this. Totally out of my comfort zone and oh so worth it.
You can check out more great Achievements for this week’s photo challenge here.
Totally loved your story 🙂

aww shucks 🙂 thanks for visiting.
I have a very similar photo from when I did my SCUBA dive. I also had a phobia of the sea, so I understand the sense of achievement you feel. However, I also like to push myself out of my comfort zone. Well done on your achievement 🙂

Thanks Sas and congrats on your 5k! I have been trying to push myself more and more out of comfort zones, because life is just too short to live the same day twice. Thank you for stopping by!
Love it!!! And I love the quote! So true!
Wow, good for you!
Wow! That is impressive. I’m too claustrophobic to do that. As for 5K’s, well, I walked to the mailbox today. 🙂 I have a long way to go to catch up on my fitness. Now that the hard work is mostly behind me with the time crunch, I’ll start working on it. I’ll like to get back to walking 2 miles a day and work up. It’s been a long year and a long story. Thanks for following me too.

One step at a time…one foot in front the other. You will get back to 2 miles a day before long! 🙂
