One of my favourite pieces captured while in London, back in April. With just a few lines, shapes and the simple gesture of the two figures from different backgrounds, street artist Stik is able to highlight the on-going issue of immigration in the UK…and if we’re being honest…it’s applicable in other parts of the world as well.
Stik’s figures, however, are a nod to the acceptance, tolerance and unity that (can?) exists in the UK and the world over.
That is quite touching, Vernette.

Thanks Ken! Stik is one of those artists who try to get conversations going through his work. I think he achieved that with this one for sure.
This is beautiful.
I love that mural; glad you shared it with us, Vernette. You are quite the traveler – London and BlogHer in NY….

I have been blessed this year with opportunities for travel…and I’m so happy that I able to say YES to them. It has really opened up a whole new world to me. Thanks for stopping by Annette.
Amazing photo. I only wish it could be given in IV form to all the racism that exists in this world!
